“Alpha Blackwood bit her,” Viktor continued. “He injected her with werewolf venom. He didn’t care that she was pregnant. I watched her screaming in my arms as she died a slow, painful death.”

I froze completely. Knox had told me that he killed Viktor’s mate in a horrible way.

“I watched her body convulse, and turn black from the venom. She begged me to end her suffering,” he hissed, his voice now filled with cold rage. “And I had no choice, but to obey her wishes and end her suffering.”

He paused, then he chuckled darkly.
