Aria’s POV
It was obvious that none of them had been expecting me to have any contacts. Even Mama Felz who had asked looked surprised.
I gave a vague shrug. “Can’t tell yet.”
“What do you mean you can’t tell?” Hunter demanded. “We need to know who we’re working with.”
“I’ll reach out to them first,” I said firmly. “If they agree to help, I’ll introduce you. But I’m not throwing their name out there because I know you might not approve.”
Shawn frowned. “That’s not very reassuring.”
“Deal with it,” I shot back. “They have proven to me that I can trust them, and that's enough for me.”
Mama Felz studied me for a long moment, then nodded. “Fair enough. Just make sure you actually contact them and don’t waste our fucking time.
