“Does she have a kid?”
Leo paused. “A kid? Where’s this coming from?”
“Just answer the question.”
“Look, I found basic information. Address, business registration, that sort of thing. But family details? That takes more digging. She’s not high profile. Records aren’t easily accessible without deeper verification.”
Frustration clawed at me. “How long would that take?”
“A couple of days, maybe. I’d need to pull birth certificates, hospital records, and school enrollments if there’s a kid involved. It’s not impossible, just time-consuming. Or I could approach this from a different angle. Talk to some people who know her. Neighbors, suppliers, and regular customers at the café. Sometimes the best information comes from casual conversation rather than digging through dusty records
