Chapter 36. Happily Ever After

We got to the hospital and went straight to his room. His brother and Adriana were already there.

I came to his bedside with all teary eyes and kissed him. I kissed him hard like no one else was watching. He kissed me back the same way and grabbed my neck, and let out his sexy groan, making me moan.

That was until his brother let out an intentional cough, taking us back to the reality that we have other people in the room.

"Right, erm...Marissa...we...she...I..." He was still composing his words when I decided to show everyone his ring. Adriana was the first one to congratulate me. She was hugging me and kissing my cheek.

"You are one very lucky man, Nate, I hope you realized that. I don't know what happened between you two. But I could see that you both love each other. So fix it and come to dinner at our place this weekend okay? Owen misses you, Marissa, oh, and his uncle Nate too...but I think he misses you more." Adriana let out a little laugh and smiled
