Chapter 16. Night Call

"Hey, baby bear..."

It was six when I got a phone call from Jeremy. He was my high school sweetheart, now my gay best friend.

"Jeremy! Oh my god! It's been years! How did you get my number?!" I shrieked at him.

"Bear bear, I'm Jeremy the computer geek that you loved, and adored throughout high school. Finding your number is a walk in the park for me."

"Pfft... More like Jemy the stalker. But yes I love you. You know I still do! So...are you back in the States now? Or hopefully back in town?"

"I'm back in town since yesterday actually. Now, I'm on my way picking you up for beers. Not letting you say no obviously. So put your shoes on, I'll be there in five minutes baby bear."

Feeling too excited, I quickly hang up and change my clothes, and slip on my heels. He called me up again, saying that he was at my door.
