Chapter 17. Jeremy and Riley

"Morning baby bear, I'm at your door already bearing coffee and bagels," Jeremy called me up and woke me up at seven, my head was still a bit queasy from last night.

"I'm up, I'm up...wait let me get the door for you. Warning, I will be walking at a snail's speed, patience Jemy. Still too early." I slurred my words to my phone and forced myself up.

I finally got to the door and was greeted by Jeremy and his breakfast package. "Jemy...you remembered." I hugged him and pulled him inside the house, I slowly seated myself on the kitchen stool.

When we were dating there was this one bakery that I love. Their bagels were to die for, he would take me there whenever we get the chance.

"Mmm...Oh, my gawdd! Just like I remembered. You should make these bagels as a wedding cake. I'll veto this, I'm the best man." He laughed and kissed my temple lovingly, while I munched on my bagels.

"There's my bear. I always love seeing you munching at these bagels." He
