Chapter 13. Back at It
Morning came and she felt dead while her body was pleasurably sore. After Yegor left the night before she only had a couple of hours of sleep. She groaned when she looks at her morning hair, she finally takes a cold shower to wake up her system.
That morning she decided to put her hair in a tight bun and start dressing in her work pants, white sleeveless blouse, and her matching navy suit jacket.
Her sheer pink lip-gloss was the last thing she puts on before she has her morning coffee. Gus was already waiting for her by his bowl.
He purred and circled himself around her ankle waiting for his favorite cat lady to fill his gourmet food. He was secretly wishing that she was not going to be stingy with his morning feed.
Yes, Karla has been putting him on a diet since their last visit to the vet where she was told that Gus was slightly overweight. She smiled at her favorite vet, knowing that it was an understatement.
