Chapter 36. Feeling Better

It was two days after the incident, Karla was taking sick days off via video call. And looking at her still pale face, her boss was actually worried about her. After almost a week of being absent she thought that he would put her straight to the internal affair and let her handle the matter herself, but luckily he was too busy to notice her absence.

"Look, you're on schedule for the training and you've been working too hard. I will get other agents to take your workload. Go get yourself treated, I need you to be on your best for the training program."
