Matteo holds her close the whole ride back to the hotel. He had arranged for their belongings to be moved to another suite on a different floor.

"Amara, we're here."

Matteo had wiped her clean and covered her with his coat, but she could still feel Antonio's blood on her face and she could not stop feeling the chill from the actualization. He kept his hand on her waist to the new suite.

"Come on, let's get you nice and clean then you can sleep." He said awkwardly, making her tug her lip upward a bit. But he was surprised when he finds flower petals scattered on the floor of the bathroom.

"Shit! I asked them to prepare a bath, but not this kind of bath. I'm so sorry? do you want me to tidy this up?" he asked thinking that she might actually find the flower scent soothing, while in reality, he didn't know anything about what women like. He never ventured into that territory.
