Chapter 13. Hugh

I had a very busy schedule that morning and didn't check my phone until I seated my ass down for lunch.

I was at the campus cafeteria when Hugh's face was in front of mine as he pulled a chair facing me.

"You are a very difficult guy to get in touch with, but easy to find."

"Hugh...hey, sorry about taking off."

"It's okay, our thing gets a bit too deep last night. You needed space to breathe, I get it. But seriously no more smoking that filthy stuff. Okay?"

He was talking to me, putting his hand on top of mine. He was making me feel like I was the only one there. It has been months since I felt like that. But I quickly chopped my feelings and try to remain in the casual friend zone.

"Okay, I'll try."

Little did he know that I was already in contact with Kyle already. My hands were shaking when I leave my apartment that morning. I have to stop for two shots of espresso before I manage to continue driving my car to school.
