Chapter 14. Recuperating

I've just finished my painting for that morning. My fingers were all black, and pots of black and white paint scattered on the floor. I stepped back and amazed myself with the result. I felt complete and for the first time in days, I was starting to feel like myself. I was feeling more alive, more energized.

I took a shower, put some clothes on, and decided to join Ann and Anthony for breakfast.

"Lilian, how are you feeling honey?" Ann hugged me as she saw me walking towards the dining room.

"Better, I'm much better Ann." I hugged her back, Anthony kissed my cheek and directed me to sit next to him.

"Well then, it has been a week and I'm going to leave you for now Lilian. I already gave Anthony some instructions and told him to call me if you needed me. You can do this Lilian, we all love you." I thanked Ann and we talked some more. I was still not back to my sassy self, but Diane was going to visit me that afternoon. Hopefully, she would spice up my mo
