Chapter 7. Needing Him

"What are you doing here my child?" her old shaky raspy voice woke me up. I slowly opened my eyes and looked to my left where her voice was coming from, and there she was lying down beside me. Her wrinkled face, her rotten teeth her dark eyes facing me, her nails scraped my bare arm as she was touching me.

I was terrified, my tears flowed, and I was trying to get up from my dream. It felt like a dream, I couldn't smell her, and I was safe. It was a dream, I just had to wake up.

"You need to get away from him or you will die, he is a cursed man. He will live a sad life, that is his destiny. Come with me, my son is waiting for you..." I was screaming and crying hard. Her hand tugged me upwards, making her nails dig deeper into my flesh.

But then I heard his voice in the distance. He was calling me. He was telling me to wake up.

"Flo, wake up Flo. Damn it! Florence....please you need to fight it, follow my voice! You can do it..."
