Chapter 36. Dead Body

I looked at Jill who was handing me the zip tie, she was putting on her scared face but the movement of her hands was calm when she was showing me her gun hidden under her blouse.

Jill put on a show as a terrified fiancée and I kept on asking him questions which he laughed and then points the gun at me and told me to shut the fuck up.

We have been in the car for over an hour and the man wasn't shy about showing us where he was going and his face. Those two facts made me realize that he was really going to kill us both unless Jill kill him first.

I could see Jill was sizing him up as she repeatedly looked at him. But I didn't expect her to let out the most embarrassing cry making the man look annoyed enough that he told me to shut her up. That was when I hugged her, while my ears perked up when she whispered in between her fake sobs.
