Though I would say he isn't always so cruel, because he actually kept his part of the bargain, and not everyone would do that.
So I really appreciate him for that. I thought within me, as I followed behind him as he made his way to the bedroom.
He opened the door, and stopped immediately when he noticed how I had arranged his bedroom. I know I really did a good job arranging it.
"You did this?" he asked, pointing at the bedroom, while I nodded with a wide smile plastered on my face.
"Do you like it?" I asked him, grinning from ear to ear.
"I didn't say I like it. Besides, you are a slave here, so you should do your work and not ask me questions," he spoke rudely, making the smile on my face disappear immediately.
"You are really so mean," I murmured under my breath, but couldn't voice it out, as I knew what that might cost me.
