One evening, it rained so hard. According to the weather update, there was a low-pressure area, and it was when Collin came home…and much to her chagrin, Collin came home with Scarlet. Aubrey was too stunned to speak to see the other woman beside her Collin.

“Can we talk? In private please?” She asked because it would be awkward to have them listening to her conversation with Collin. He was gone for several days, so she had a lot of things to say to him. When he agreed, she brought him to her bedroom. “Actually, I am speechless about the things you did to me, Collin. We just got married and yet, you left with another woman.”

“Will you please stop referring to Scarlet as the other woman? She’s part of our family, and my father adores her!”

“I know, right? David adores her, Granny likes her, and you love her!” She screamed at him but then he clenched his jaw and stared at her as if she did something unforgivable.
