Chapter 30

Aubrey enjoyed listening to her playlist when her husband came in with a furious look. Slowly, she glanced at him, and then she conversed with him through his eyes. She waited until he would speak first, and when he took his time, she adjusted her earphone.

“What do you think you’re doing, Aubrey?” Collin asked while clenching his jaw. “Why are you here?”

“It’s simple, Collin. I am not sleeping with you unless you get rid of Scarlet from this house, okay?” She informed her husband and when Collin just looked at her, as if he didn’t grasp the situation, she began to curse at him.

“You are overacting as a wife, Aubrey.”

Aubrey was hurt at Collin’s words but she didn’t back out, and stared daggers at him. “Listen, my dear. You are aware of the fact that her presence makes me uncomfortable, and yet, you refuse to send her away. Do you think it’s fair to have another woman on our wedding day?”
