Chapter 72

Scarlet’s excitement got the best of her, and she signed the papers without first reading them. Before she decided to read what was written on the paper, her signature was already on it. When she finished reading it, she blinked several times.

“I’m your girlfriend, but I can’t kiss or touch you in public? This is complete nonsense!” Scarlet returned the signed agreement to Collin, cursing him for duping her by writing that information in the middle.

“How are we going to proceed now that it’s signed?” Collin smiled as he realized he had duped Scarlet into signing the agreement. It wasn’t his fault that she didn’t read what it said. Scarlet glared at him, but he ignored her. “Think of it as my payback for ruining my life, Scarlet.”

“I had no idea you could be so cruel, Collin.” Scarlet muttered a curse, but she reasoned that there had to be a way out. “How much would it cost me to cancel the contract we just signed?”
