“It is so late at night, what is so urgent that could not wait till the next morning?” Xavier asked as he stood up to sit on one of the chairs.

“I am aware of that, but it was so urgent I had to call immediately,” he explained. “So many companies are pulling out investment in the new company because of a scandalous rumor referring to the top model we used.

“What?” Xavier could not wrap his mind around it. It was a bit too rare for their models to have scandals. The Braxton enterprise had always stuck with models they had used before, and for the first time, they decided to use a new model to appeal to younger generations. They had a serious crisis on their hands.

“What is it? The scandal?” he asked, sighing.

“Scarlett, whom we used, committed a series of crimes that the investors could not overlook.”
