“You only call me when it is time for investments. I thought we were friends, Dawson?” Ethan said in a teasing voice.

“And you answer every time,” Dawson continued.

Silence ensued on the phone before both men burst out laughing. They were the ones who took small companies or their grandparents’ businesses to greater heights. They were buddies and confidants.

“Do you feel better? Are you coming to Aurora Haven? I hated that I had to interact with your secretary the last time,” Ethan expressed with a gruff tone in his voice.

“I am afraid I can’t make it this time, either. It is a bit difficult for me to travel such a distance in this state,” Dawson explained.

“So you are sending the secretary again?” Ethan asked with a sigh.
