Sophia smiled. “Thank you. I had to impress you with what you asked of me.”

Nicolas didn’t catch their quiet exchange. Initially invited by Bianca to the opening ceremony, he wasn’t very interested. However, when Sophia later invited him, he changed his mind and gladly accepted.
