Then, a realization hit Zane. His eyes widened as he turned to Dave. “Mr. Evans, don’t tell me... You’re involved with another woman, and Miss Scott found out? Is this about your time with Ms. Larson earlier?”

“Shut up!” Dave shouted at Zane, then slumped back in his seat.

He pulled out his phone and saw several missed calls from Bianca. Dave rubbed his forehead and wondered if Bianca was with Blake to get back at him.

But why wouldn’t she give him a chance to explain? Why did she have to kiss Blake?

The thought of that scene filled Dave with a growing rage, leaving him feeling agitated and disturbed.

After parking the car, Zane looked at Dave. Just as he was about to mention their arrival, he noticed blood on Dave’s left hand.

“Mr. Evans, is there something wrong with your hand?” Zane asked in alarm.

Dave glanced at his hand and saw the dried blood. He shrugged and said, “Get someone to wrap this up. I think it’s fractured.”
