Chapter 105

Sean was busy cooling his head in a holding cell. His mind was a flurry of activity about last night. He nearly had her. He nearly had Lilian. His plan seemed flawless.

The police station was busy and he kept his head bent the entire time. He wasn't sure of what was going on and what exactly he was supposed to be waiting for. He had never been arrested before.

When he was brought in, they asked him a flurry of questions and he answered them the best he could trying his best not to implicate himself.

"What were you doing on Mr. Richards's property?"

"I work there."

"Then why were you there in the middle of the night? You work a night shift too."

"I left something important that I needed to take."

"Why were you then led out to his house with a gun pointed to the back of your head."

He was silent.

"Mr. Richards and Miss Mendez's statements both say that you were in Miss Mendez's room and that you tried to rape her. Is this true?"
