“The city's actually on fire,” Mann agreed. “Nearly everyone is talking about it.”

Xavier breathed in and out slowly while he waited for his anger to subside.

"And with that stupid exenoration, I'm sure nothing will stop Brian from ratting us out. He would surely sing like a bird to Caleb" He clenched his fists.

He had no problem with trusting Mann. Mann was not the kind of person that would be moved to rat him out just because of a million dollars. He was worth more than that. One job alone could get him double that amount so Xavier had no issues with him. With Brian however, he wasn't so sure.

“Brian may feel pressured to talk, you've got to watch him carefully.”

“Not a problem. I'll stop by his crib early tomorrow morning.”

“Why not tonight?” Xavier frowned.

“I've got a job tonight.”
