Jane was seated on Brian's couch, scooping ice cream into her mouth as she absentmindedly stared at the TV. A reality show was playing but her mind was too far away to understand what the show was all about.

When she heard the sound of the door open, she looked over her shoulder and saw Brian walking in with some bags in his hand.

"You're back."

"Yeah, sorry I'm a little late, the grocery store was crowded today."

"It's always like that on a Sunday. Caleb would have taken me out today," Jane added sadly and scooped another spoon of ice cream into her mouth.

"Jane, I don't think it's healthy for you to sit here all day filling yourself with junk."
