I sighed at the dumb documents while constantly blinking the tears that gathered in my eyes.
A voice at the back of my head kept telling me to read the damn thing thoroughly, but I was way too mad to care.
What was the worst he could do to me? I was already in jail, and according to the way it seemed, I would be going to court very soon so...
" There. It's done ". I noticed a mischievous glint pass through David's eyes as he collected the papers, but I blinked, and it was gone.
" Good. So we are now officially divorced. " He said with a smile, giving the papers to Jameson, who collected them and placed them inside his briefcase.
" Yeah, I am. So you have no reason to be here, leave ". I ordered weakly.
I had just divorced David, again.
