Rachel's POV

"Hi, guys." I greeted as soon as I sighed. Joyce and Marina were seated in the living room. They were both discussing something and looked up at me as I came down from the stairs.

"Rachel..."

I frowned at Joyce's nervous voice.

Why was she nervous? I wondered, and my curiosity deepened even more when I noticed Marina nudge Joyce in the stomach.

" What's going on here? " I asked raising my brows at them while giving them a skeptical look.

"What... What do you mean?" Joyce scratched the back of her neck letting out a little laugh before shaking her head. " N... Nothing".
