Rachel's POV

"What are you doing here?"

Those were the first words that came out of Ethan's mouth as soon as he opened the door.

My heart sank at the harshness of his voice, but I bared it, (Not as if there was any other thing I could do and smiled.

"I'm sorry."

There was more, so much more I wanted to say, but that could only be possible if Ethan didn't shut the door on me, which he looked to be on the verge of doing... So I couldn't beat around the bush.

"I'm sorry for doubting you." My head hung down low in guilt, and I stared at the floor, fiddling with my fingers.

Apologizing was not really one of my strengths.

"I'm sorry for not trusting you, I'm sorry for blaming you, I'm sorry for..."

The rest of my long-planned apology all went back into my throat when Ethan leaned down and slammed his thin lips on mine.

I was surprised at first but didn't think much of it.

It was thinking that got me into this mess, why woul
