Rachel's POV

Tears built up in my eyes as my mother accused me of sleeping with directors just to get a part in the show.

She accused me of sleeping with men for money, me!

Never in my life would I ever think that she would do something like that... For Lana... That damn...

She even slapped me for her... Why can't she tell that that bitch is lying? Why was she only accusing me?

"Is it because Lana complained to you that we would be working together? Is that why you're doing this?" I asked her with tears in my eyes.

I watched as she struggled to find an excuse.

Why couldn't she see between her daughter's lies? Is this what it meant when they said blood is thicker than water?

"No..." I heard her say, and then she continued.

"It's because I don't want you inconveniencing my daughter in any way. Lana is a good child, no matter what you do to her, she always has your side. She pleads for you every time... Why can't you see how go
