" I did a little more finding and John told me something else too..." Mark paused to look at me and I nodded giving him a go ahead sign.

"John said that yesterday when he followed Rachel and her mother, and he overheard Martha telling Rachel that her scum bag of an ex-husband wanted her back and if he didn't get her he was going to cut of the alliance between the both companies ".

My body tensed up and my hands under the table gripped it so tightly.

They were trying to take Rachel away from me! And not just anyone but David? He just suddenly wants her back after finding out she had moved on from him?

That must be the reason why Rachel came back so down yesterday, and yet I just had to add to her stress by staying in that bar with Lana.
