“Sister Bertha, why were you gone for so long?”

"What's up? What's up?" Bertha noticed his expression and asked back.

"Alex sent someone to find you. He said that the matter you asked him to investigate yesterday already has clues. He told you to come back and find him if you have time."

“Okay, I'll go now.”

“No matter what, you have to finish your rice and then go.”

He cried out helplessly, and Bertha drove away.

After Derek finished eating, he took Laura back to the hotel.

Seeing the quiet room, Laura was a little unhappy. She pulled his hand and cooed. “Derek, we're engaged, can't I go back to the villa with you?”

Derek unconsciously frowned.

Even though he was unhappy, he was still comforting. "Please wait a little longer, I will ask my people to quickly arrange suitable accommodation for you."

Laura keenly sensed his dissatisfaction.

In her heart, she felt even more sorry for herself.
