The heavy rain that had been soaking the Earth made a black-haired woman worried. She had come out of the study and then looked out the window. The sound of thunder booming and the occasional flash of lightning made the atmosphere tenser.
"I did not expect it to rain so heavily, even though it should not be like that. Is this a sign that the emperor's envoys will come to our orphanage?" muttered Aufrodine, who was already shuddering at the thought of what would happen. However, a woman with a bitchy face as soon as possible shook her head as if she did not want to have evil thoughts. "Let's hope they do not come so that the children, especially the Chosen One, will be spared from danger."
