Chapter 62
The girls got to the college and went into their various rooms for their beauty sleep.
Alexia took her bath and lay on her bed, but she couldn’t sleep and her thoughts drifted off to Fernando. She wished he was right there with her and she would be able to sleep peacefully in his arms. She tossed and turned several times and shut her eyes tight with the hope that she’d sleep eventually, but she suddenly felt a familiar presence behind her. She turned slowly and saw Fernando beside her. She smiled and blinked then brought her hand to his face to confirm whether he was real or she was simply hallucinating.
She smiled broadly when she felt he was real. “Why are you here?” Alexia asked silently.
“You called for me, milady” he replied and she chuckled lightly. She snuggled closer to him. His arms snaked around her waist and she buried her face into his chest before sleeping off soundly.
