I briskly changed into a more formal outfit and made my way over to the conference room of Collin’s pack, and by the time I got there, the seats were almost all taken as most of the alphas were already present.

Finding a place to take my seat, I checked my watch and prayed that whatever they wanted to discuss in the meeting was done quickly so that I could return.

Movement from the opposite direction of my seat caught my attention as I scrolled on my phone to get some work done, and on lifting my head to see what it was, Collin was sitting directly opposite me, and I internally sighed.

“You are a bit late for a meeting that was supposed to start twenty minutes ago, Alpha Aidan,” he said, grinning in false respect.
