I waited in the hall, arms folded tightly across my chest, feeling the tension radiating through the air like a live wire.
I knew my father was with her.
I trusted him, at least, when it came to Sienna, I did. But it still didn’t ease the storm inside me.
It still did not ease the stress that I felt, knowing that my wolf wanted to be around her. And yet I couldn’t. Not when she was as upset as she was. Not when I knew that she needed her space as well.
