I was in high spirits after the kiss with Roxanne. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Anya came to me a few minutes later, while I was on my way out, pleading that she wanted to join me to take a walk.

Even though I didn’t want to, I was already so happy from the kiss I shared with Roxanne, so I could spread that happiness to someone who had just lost her mother.

We strolled and headed to the field as we just caught up on old times and recent life happenings.

“So what's up with Roxanne? Are you two together now?” She suddenly asked out of the blue, making me pause to look at her. Why was she suddenly asking?

“Why are you asking?” I asked with raised eyebrows.

"Nothing, just curious.” She replied, shrugging her shoulders.
