But I don’t think she was convinced at all because that smile looks more like a nervous breakdown and I felt the tears slide down my cheeks as I helped Fiona to wipe off the blood from her hands and her face. I can feel his eyes boring holes in my back, but I didn’t turn back. I haven’t turned around since I left him standing there and I certainly won’t.

This is a decision that I should have made a long time ago, I have to stop letting him walk all over me.
