Edison’s Uncle was not the man I expected he was.
We were both invited to sit with him at dinner and everything was set so glamorously and the foods were exquisite despite the that it’s all foreign to my tastebuds. It must be a type of cuisine that originated from another country because the ingredients are new to me and do not grow in this part of the continent. Every dish they served here must cost a fortune and I cannot imagine how wealthy this man is.
I have been silent since Edison and I entered the dining area and try my hardest not to look at his Uncle’s face because I am too scared they might find it rude. But Edison, still in his Kingly demeanor walked and sit by my side and waited for his Uncle to address him to know if we are both welcome in his abode.
