“ How can I bring her down?” I ask Mandy.

Lexi is becoming a real pain in the ass. I can't let her torment me anymore. I know she too has been looking for me but I have been MIA.

“ That isn't something I think you manage to do on your own. I don't like her either and I want my little pup to come and grow in a pack where she is the luna.”

As if on instinct Mandy’s hands go around her big belly and her face is greased in deep concern. I feel for her besides it's natural for any mother to worry about the environment their child will grow in.

“ We can work together then,” I suggest. “ But how sure are you I will make a good Luna?”

“ I know you will, I heard that you were a great beta and you worked efficiently and that was enough for me. I will be your beta female as long as we take her down.”

The door suddenly opens and Aiden sticks his head in, “ who are we taking down love?” He asks her as he looks at her with utter and pure love.
