Chapter 50. Surprise Visit

It's Saturday morning and I am watching Kayden work his way around the kitchen. He is preparing breakfast and it's wonderful to watch him. I can say he is a better cook than me.

“ Will you be the one to taste dinner?” He asks.

I nod my head, “ I don't wanna make you hate food.” I reply.

He huffs, “ I am sure I won't. I think you are a great cook.”

“ You haven't just seen anything yet.”

He lets out a deep sexy chuckle that has me gawking at him like a fool. I clear my throat and compose myself.

“ I can't wait to see.” He adds.

I can't help but widen my eyes. He can't be serious, I am a cooking disaster. “ You will get indigestion.”

“ Wolves can't get indigestion.” He counters.

I grimace, “ it will be so shameful when you do.”

He continues to cook scrambled eggs. All I can do is ogle at his back. His is so well-shaped and his muscles flex with each movement. He isn't even doing my eyes justice by being shirtless.
