Chapter 21. Traitor Among Us

Kieran’s POV

I open the door to my office and see Mae and Tish waiting outside with the two Omegas at their side. Neither of the Omegas meets my gaze, and I wonder what is going on.

“Why haven’t you shown them to their rooms?” I ask the Omegas.

Both of the Omegas bare their necks to me, but neither is willing to explain to me what is going on.

Finally, Tish rolls her eyes and steps forward. “Mae wanted you to show her where she would be staying.”

Mae keeps her eyes trained on the ground before her and shuffles from side to side. A deep red blush creeps up her neck and stains her face. She looks so cute. I can’t be frustrated.

Turning my attention to the Omegas, I said, “You are dismissed.”

The Omegas scurry away. Their heads are together as they whisper. I am sure they will spread rumors about Mae and Tish as soon as possible. That is one bad thing about pack life. Rumors spread quickly. Everyone is in everyone else’s business.
