Chapter 24. First Kiss

Mae’s POV

I don’t dare move. Kieran’s hand is wrapped around my neck, and his body hovers over mine. My eyes are wide with fear, but he doesn’t seem to recognize who I am.

Kieran’s eyes are unnaturally dark as he looks down at my face. His fingers flex against my neck, but he doesn’t squeeze painfully. He is applying enough pressure to let me know he is in control.

I should be afraid. A werewolf has his hand around my neck. Kieran could kill me easily. But I am not afraid. Something tells me that he will not hurt me. I just need to snap him out of whatever trance he is in.

His hips are pressed against mine, and I can feel his erection growling through his sweats. Kieran presses his hips into mine, and a soft mewl escapes my lips. My hips move on their own accord and wiggle against him.
