Chapter 29. Hateful Bodyguard

I rolled my eyes, “Did you hear me? I said I want to come with you, don't stop me.”

“Very well then. We’ll leave at dawn.” He answered.  

“Don’t stop me, I know, what-” I was utterly surprised at his words, “Did you mean it? Can you repeat your words?”

He shrugged, “You heard it right, sweetheart. Can you fight? We’re going to the enemy.” 

I scoffed at that, “Of course, I can! And even if I couldn’t, I know I have you backing me up.”

That put a silly smile on his face as he reached for my hair and patted it. “Go get some sleep. We’ll leave at dawn.” Alpha Ace urged me and I nodded as he left. 

I was left alone in the room and the moment he was finally away, I couldn’t contain my excitement as I jumped up and down, squealing, kicking, and grinning like a fool 

He’s letting me go with him. Ace is finally letting me out of here!
