Chapter 73. Burn It

Corrine rushed in and checked me, putting her stethoscope on my heart and my belly. She panicked a bit and gulped.

“What did you do while I was away?” She asked, her eyes boiling in anger as she threw daggers in Ace’s direction.

Ace’s eyes shifted to the side. Corrine rolled her eyes at him, “Damn, alpha. Didn’t I tell you to keep it in your pants and stop all your sexual activities? You knew better than to touch her while her body is dealing with a delicate pregnancy!”

At this point, Corrine was angry, and its the first time I saw Ace scolded by anyone other than me.

Ace’s jaw clenched at this, “Oh, who was it that s****d her drink with ap*****ac? She was the one who wanted it.”

Corrine paused at that, “Wait, did you mean ap*****ac? I didn’t put anything in her drinks or her d**g dosage.” she grabbed all the left food trays on the bedside table, assessing them.

“Unless…”

“Unless what?” Ace asked.

She halted and cursed under her breath
