Chapter 71. Expecting
Talitha’s POV
A large king sized bed with luxurious pieces of furniture organized in perfect shape. The bright sunny side of Arni had two couples in each other’s arms unable to take their hands off the other. And there I laid holding onto my husband but at the same time having a little rethink.
Words kill but actions kill faster.
Mother’s wild statements kept me frigging at the slightest sound. She’s gone into the dark path and seems unredeemable, a life filled with broken pieces isn’t one toy with.
I pushed her threats to the corner forcing myself to calm my nervous energy with the narrative she was just angry and didn’t mean all she said. She needs some time to herself and after that I will make her see violence isn’t the way to live. It hurts listening to her speak. It breaks my heart knowing the despicable things she was subjected to in the past but killing my child and husband was off limits.
