Liam
I didn’t expect her to answer the door.
Not after the sparring spree.
But she did.
She opened it quietly, her expression unreadable. Tired. Distant. Still so beautifully composed that I hated myself all over again.
“What is it this time, Liam?” She asked, her voice more tired than ever. She had cried a lot. I knew to expect her to be tired.
I walked inside calmly, my arms crossed over my chest before I closed the door behind me. I stood there for a second, unsure how to start.
“I didn't want you to be alone. This is why I came.” I said, looking her in the eye. She pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head as a small broken smile formed on her lips.
“You being around us, sparring, well, me hitting you, the yelling and everything that happened, it's not going to change what you did.” She said, her voice dropping to just above a whisper as she walked towards the window, leaning against it as she stared into s
