“No, wait… you can’t do this!” My words echoed back at me, useless. They weren’t listening. None of them ever did. “I didn't do anything and neither one of you is listening to a word that I'm saying.”
“Move it. The less you speak the better the outcome. And stop fighting or squirming. Unless of course you want to deal with the consequences.” I wanted to stop at admit, but the instinct to fight, to keep going, to run, was one that I could not just let go of.
“I cannot deal with consequences of something that I did not do. I'm still in my towel and neither one of you is actually allowing me to be decent in my outfit.” I said, looking at them.
