Chapter 121

The shuffling of feet distracted Haven from her trail of thoughts, her head snapping back to stare into the darkness. Since she wasn’t able to move, Haven could only lie there quietly, her heart starting to beat faster against her chest as she waited for whatever it was to come closer. Well, she didn’t have to wait for long though as less than a minute later, Haven felt the space beside her cave in under someone’s weight.

“ Who— who’s there?” She asked quietly, feeling the person draw closer to her.

“ I said who is it? Stop! Don’t come any closer” Panic quickly washed over Haven, forcing her to struggle the more. She didn’t like the feeling of being here one bit.
