Chapter 140

Through a small crack on the wall, bright morning rays streamed into the room , hitting Natasha’s face and forcing her awake. She grimaced, not liking the fact that the light was intruding her sleep.

Her eyes fluttered open weakly and quickly close shut when the bright light flooded her eyes. She laid there unmoving for a while, feeling the rough ground beneath her cheeks. It took some time before Natasha finally decided to open her eyes again. This time, she raised her hands to shield her eyes from the light as she closed her eyes again.

Her eyesight was greeted by an old wall when she opened them. Confused, Natasha tried to move. Her whole body felt extremely weak. With much difficulty , she managed to pull herself into a sitting position.

“ Argh..” Another groan left her lips when she felt her head ache badly. With hands holding onto her throbbing head, Natasha’s eyes roamed around the unfamiliar place.
