Chapter 5
Ashley stomped into the dark dungeon, her heels clicking on the floor. Her footsteps echoed as she walked toward a certain cell.
Who was this woman who wanted to take her Alpha away from her? How dare this bitch!
She was definitely going to teach her a lesson.
Ashley was Beta Raphael’s only younger sister. She had always had feelings for Alpha Lucious, but he never gave her his attention.
In fact, he despised women. His Luna was the only exception. Now that the Luna was gone, it was her time to shine. Lady Luck was finally smiling upon her, but now this stupid rogue had to come and ruin everything.
Holding a bucket of water in her hands, she appeared at the rogue’s cell and immediately emptied the contents, drenching her.
The rogue woke up with a start. Her expression soon turned to anger as she growled at Ashley.
“Wow... she really is beautiful,” Ashley murmured to herself as she saw her. No wonder the Alpha didn’t want to kill her.
“How dare you?!” the rogue half-yelled as she approached her.
“No! How dare you?!” Ashley retorted. She could finally see the rogue clearly now.
Wait, she’s just a child?
Ashley burst into laughter as she looked at the young teen girl before her.
“You? You’re just a child! How can a small bitch like you come and try to seduce our Alpha?” she said angrily. Some of the guards arrived at the scene after hearing all the yelling.
Haven burst into laughter, hearing this.
“Yes, I’m a child. A beautiful one at that... more beautiful than some woman standing in front of me. I’ve got a body to die for. Just look at me.” She turned slowly, revealing her perfect figure to Ashley, who stared daggers at her. Even though the girl was young, she couldn’t deny she had an amazing figure.
“Why won’t your Alpha fall head over heels for this?” Haven smirked, pointing to her body.
“What insolence!” Ashley growled angrily. “How dare you speak about the Alpha like that!”
“Guards, seize this girl! Teach her a valuable lesson not to ever talk of our Alpha like that again,” Ashley ordered as two guards moved forward.
Haven smirked as she heard this. “Jealous bitch!” she cursed, making the older woman even more furious.
“What are you waiting for?! Seize her!” she yelled.
“Stop!” a male voice rang out loudly as two figures entered the dark dungeon. It was Beta Raphael with Lucious following behind.
“Ashley, what are you doing?!” the Beta rebuked as he grabbed his sister by the arm.
“Leave me, Raph... you’re hurting me,” she whined, feeling the pain in her arm.
Lucious followed behind Raphael as he entered the dungeon. He saw his guards all staring in one direction. He wondered what they were looking at as he followed their gaze.
His breath hitched in his throat as he saw the sight before his eyes. The rogue stood there, drenched, as water dripped down her hair and clothes.
Her clothes stuck to her beautiful shape as everything was on display for him to feast his eyes on. Lucious got lost just by looking at the girl. He was drawn to her, and he didn’t know why.
Noticing how the other guards stared at her lustfully, a feeling began to form in his chest.
How dare they look at her like that? He couldn’t stand it.
“Enough, both of you!” he said, stopping the bickering between brother and sister.
“This rogue is coming with me. Lock her up on my floor.” The Alpha commanded.
Haven’s eyes opened in horror as she heard this.
“No... no!! This isn’t right! You can’t just lock me up. You don’t own me!” she retorted angrily.
“You’re not in a position to state what you want. I decide what to do with you, rogue. You were present in the very place I was attacked. That can’t be a coincidence. Until I find out who you really are, you’ll stay with me,” Lucious said solemnly.

Haven struggled as she was dragged and shoved into an elevator. Two warriors stood on each side of her as the elevator began moving. Haven didn’t know where they were taking her as she stood there waiting for the doors to open. She just hoped it wasn’t worse than the cold dungeon. The door soon opened and, without wasting any more time, the warriors grabbed her hands and pulled her into a magnificent apartment.
Haven looked around in shock as she allowed them to pull her wherever they were taking her. The apartment was so big that it could fit her entire Silver Pack.
‘Where is this place?’ she wondered, curious eyes darting around.
Everything here looked expensive as they passed rows and rows of rooms before finally stopping at one. They opened the door, and one of them quickly pushed her in.
Haven was caught off guard as she stumbled forward, falling to the ground. She bruised her knee as she landed roughly on the rug. A sharp pain tore through her knee, forcing her to close her eyes as she gritted her teeth, trying to get up. She rushed for the door and tried to open it.
It was locked.
“Damn it, you people!” she yelled. “Open this door right now!!” Haven banged on the door loudly.
She kicked, pulled, banged, yelled, and cursed, yet no one came to open the door. Exhausted, she gave up and walked into the large room. Her knees trembled as she slowly allowed herself to fall to the ground. She curled up on the floor as tears soon blurred her eyesight.
“Mom, Dad... I miss you so much,” she said silently as she finally allowed the tears she had held back all these days to fall. She had never shown herself to be weak. Even when her parents died, she refused to cry.
Her father always told her she was strong, and she always believed it. So she had never shown weakness.
But now she was tired. She really was.
She was betrayed by the man she loved. Her very own best friend betrayed her. Her father’s Beta betrayed her... a man she had always considered a father. She was kicked out of her own pack, and no one stood up for her. She had led Silver Moon Pack and had suffered to get her pack members back on track after the deadly rogue attack, and this was how they repaid her? Taking away her title and kicking her out?
And now, because she had decided to help a stranger, she was taken against her wishes and locked up forcibly.
Haven cried and cried as she allowed the tears to fall. She let all the pain and frustration out as her tears flowed, wetting her face.
She lay there, sobbing silently for what seemed like forever before slowly, tiredness began to creep in.
Her eyelids felt heavy as she fought to keep them open. She failed miserably as darkness soon enveloped her.
