Chapter 92

A small bead of sweat could be seen running down Haven’s forehead as she stepped out of the elevator. Her heart beat loudly against her chest as she walked on. It thumbed against her ribcage so fast, she was afraid it could burst out any moment. Haven was thankful she had managed to stop at the second floor, she didn’t know how much longer she could put up with that pretense in front of Mika. Thankfully, she hadn’t decided to follow her out else Haven wouldn’t have known what to do.

Haven blinked hard, trying her best to stop the tears which were threatening to fall. Behind her, she could hear the elevator door finally close but that didn’t stop her from walking on.

“ Why the fuck are you here?!”

“ You must have heard Tristan and I are expecting a baby that’s why you’re here right?”

“ You’re too late Haven, I’m already pregnant with Tristan’s child. I’m carrying Tristan’s baby”
